Flag Ranch LLC Females have had a state of the art vaccination program since birth. Before entering the replacement herd all females receive three doses of modified live Respiratory vaccine, seven way and Vibrio-Lepto prior to breeding. Once in the cow herd the vaccine program includes pre-breeding vaccination with Vibrio-Lepto (Stay-Bred, Pfizer) and Breed Back FP (Boehringer-Ingleheim). Breed Back FP offers the most complete protection against both type 1 and type 2 BVD infection during gestation. The fall vaccination program includes an all killed IBR, PI3, BRSV and Types 1 and 2 viral vaccine as well as a seven way clostridial booster. These cows have also been given an initial two dose Scour Guard 3kc in their first year followed by a booster dose within 45 days of calving. The cows offered in this sale will need a Scour guard booster prior to calving. External and internal parasites are controlled with a spring permectrin and Fall avermectin pour-on.The breeding herd vaccination program at Flag Ranch LLC uses the most up to date and effective vaccines available in the industry today.
